Job Title: Pathologists’ Assistant

Schedule: M-F 10a-7p, with some flexibility

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $140,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program.
• ASCP Pathologists’ Assistant certification preferred.
• Strong consideration given to experienced PAs with relevant clinical experience.
• New graduates with strong clinical training and references may also be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed gross examination, dissection, and description of a wide range of surgical specimens.
• Work across both hospital and off-site laboratory settings.
• Handle a variety of complex surgical pathology specimens, including breast, GYN, oncology, lung, and gastrointestinal cases.
• Participate in frozen section procedures in collaboration with the pathology and histology teams.
• Ensure specimen integrity, proper identification, and accurate documentation throughout the process.
• Collaborate closely with pathologists, histotechnologists, and other laboratory professionals.
• Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in accordance with departmental procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
