Job Title: Pathologists’ Assistant 

Job Location: Reno, NV

Schedule: M-F Day Shift

Dates: 09/21/26 -1/1/27

Weekly Estimated Pay or Pay Range: $3,100 -3,200 (Includes hourly rate, meals & incidentals, rental car, lodging, round trip flight – taxed and tax-free income)

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in a health or science-related field required
• ASCP certification as a Pathologists’ Assistant required
• Active NV License
• Completion of a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform gross examination, dissection, and description of surgical pathology specimens in accordance with established protocols
• Prepare tissue for histologic processing and assist with slide preparation as needed
• Accurately record gross findings, measurements, and maintain appropriate documentation
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, quality control, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to support workflow and maintain turnaround times
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
