Job Title: Pathologists’ Assistant 

Job Location: Findlay, Ohio

Schedule: M-F 8a-5p (Hours are Flexible)

Start Date: 3/2/26

End Date:  3/14/26

Duration: 2 weeks

Weekly Estimated Pay or Pay Range: $3000 to $3200/week plus transportation

Qualifications:  

- Master’s degree from a NAACLS-accredited PA program (or Grandfathered ASCP     Certified). 
- ASCP PA certification (or eligibility with certification within 6 months). 
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or reference lab preferred. 
- Familiarity with Epic Beaker LIS and voice dictation systems a plus. 
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform detailed gross dissection and description of a wide range of surgical specimens - Lower specimen count and is not high paced. 

- Assist in the performance and documentation of autopsies. 
- Photograph gross specimens and maintain image records for clinical and teaching purposes. 
- Ensure specimen integrity and accurate labeling throughout the process. 
- Collaborate with pathology residents, medical students, and histotechnologists. 
- Participate in departmental QA/QC activities to maintain compliance with CAP standards.
