Job Description
Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist
Job Location: Arcadia, LA
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 2/5/27
Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Weekly Estimated Pay or Pay Range: $1,400-$1,500 (Includes hourly rate, meals & incidentals, lodging, round trip flight – taxed and tax-free income)
- Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine practices
- Strong Laboratory Skills and experience in Pathology
- Knowledge and application of Quality Control processes specific to laboratory operations
- Ability to operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced laboratory instrumentation
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain compliance with CLIA and COLA standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (e.g., ASCP or equivalent) is required
- Louisiana License
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
