Job Location: Ft. Myers, FL (Hospital based)
Schedule: Day Shift, M-F
Pay Range: $103k-154k Annually plus bonus; Sign on Bonus and Relocation negotiable

Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Pathologist Assistant (PA) from an accredited college or university
- Graduation from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the chemical, physical, or biological sciences
- Pathologist assistant certification under ASCP
- Five years of laboratory experience as pathologists’ assistant, preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Gross pathology prosection and description with submission of appropriate tissue for thorough pathology evaluation
- Assist with preparation of frozen section slides
- Prosect and assist in report generation of rare fetal and adult autopsies
- Assist in appropriate quality control and quality assurance measures
- Assist pathologists in preparing for tumor board or other presentations
